Created by comic artist Mario Cau (Monstruário, Terapia, Morphine, Dom Casmurro), Pieces is a series of comics that proposes a poetic and introspective look at relationships (or the lack thereof), the search for one's own identity, absences, broken hearts and bar philosophies. Small moments of everyday life that are pieces of a beautiful puzzle formed by the experiences of all of us.
 These fleeting moments, captured through observation of all our lives, do not give us a complete picture of what is really going on between the people involved. Leaving it up to the observer to fill in the narrative gaps with their own repertoire, the stories in Pieces have no fixed characters, no defined (or definitive) beginnings or endings.
 Originally created in 2004, it was only properly compiled and published independently in 2009 and 2010, as part of the Quarto Mundo collective catalog. In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the series' creation and the 10th anniversary of the publication of the printed editions, Pieces – Parte de Mim is a special reissue with all the original material, some stories redrawn and with updated text, and many new features: old stories published elsewhere, stories never before published and brand new stories: new pieces for an old puzzle.
