ATTENTION: This is an e-book, not a printed version.
Even a seemingly normal life can hide the deepest unhappiness. And there is nothing more distressing than not even suspecting the true reason for such sadness.
A random college student in a random city works, has a good family and is dating a nice girl. But he constantly feels out of place, at odds with everything around him, as if every detail and moment of his life were just fuel to feed his doubts, drowning in an infinite number of questions for which he has no answers.
However, in his therapist's office, he begins to explore his present, diving deep into hazy memories. And, by exposing his insecurities and fears, he searches his essence and his most hidden dreams, in search of a common thread that, if pulled, can be used to sew his “self” back together.
While he constructs and deconstructs everything he feels, lives and desires, he takes refuge in old blues songs, whose dusty lyrics seem to explain the world (and himself) in a much more satisfactory way.
QUOTE:
“Sometimes a work can be a kind of therapy for its creators. And if we’re lucky, it can bring something useful to its readers. Therapy is the story of a person seeking peace and balance in the pursuit of their passions, and, in doing so, it invites us to open our own doors as well.” – David Mack (Kabuki, Daredevil)
