I began my own comic book production in 2004, when experimentation with techniques, narratives, and styles merged with the themes that most interested me in the Pieces series, initially published online. This led me to join two important author collectives: Front and Quarto Mundo, and to participate in various publications in Brazil and abroad. Telling stories with words and images is fascinating, and I've always considered it my primary language, my favorite form of expression. Since my debut as an author over 15 years ago, and through various experiences producing, editing, and teaching comics, I've published several titles and won some awards.
